Bloomeffects has launched — and says it is the first skincare brand to harness the regenerative powers of tulips. The product line uses Holland’s world-renowned tulips, for a first-to-market ingredient, to cleanse, hydrate, clarify, and enhance the complexion. The line was inspired by the award-winning tulips from the van Haaster Family, a tulip-farming family with over 100 years of experience — and who have also supplied flowers to the royal family in England. The products incorporate the brand’s exclusive ‘Proprietary Dutch Tulip Complex.’ Through extensive stem cell research, Bloomeffects says it discovered that tulips have the potential to provide significant skincare benefits, including the promotion of cellular growth, collagen, skin-nourishing amino acids, and natural humectant properties. Recyclable Packaging – & Tubes Made From Wood The packaging is pretty — the brand uses tubes and jars in lavender & pastel pink, and the jars seem to be decorated with metallic rose gold accents. The brand is available at Bluemercury. The tubes are actually made from wood — and the brand says they are the first beauty brand in the U.S. to use PICEA wood tubes. Over 95% of the materials used in these tubes come from renewable resources. The packaging is also made of all recyclable materials and FSA-certified paper. The Founders Bloomeffects is founded and led by Kim Jensen and Monica Aurigemma, who have over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry working with both established and indie brands. The products are cruelty-free, and formulated without fragrances, parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. The line is available at Buemercury.
